After a strong growth period, the company is raising additional capital to further scale into international markets. We are achieving this growth through optimizing the supply chain in the meat industry. We are a 3-year-old startup in Norway, providing the only solution that helps the meat industry be sustainable by optimally utilizing animals. In addition to some European companies, we are currently working with a top 3 US meat producers. About this role

As Sales Director in Völur, your primary job will be to lead our outbound sales. We expect you to take charge of lead identification, development, and sales sequence and be the customer's first contact point in the journey with Völur.

Your success will be measured by how well you communicate with our customers and your ability to establish relationships with large enterprises.  

You will also work together with the Commercial Director to further develop sales goals and our go-to-market strategy.

 

Responsibilities.

  • Take ownership of your critical KPIs
  • Take ownership of the plan to find more leads and establishment of new customer relationships
  • Manage complex and lengthy sales cycles from lead generation to successful first meetings
  • Strive to continuously improve and optimize our outbound efforts
  • Conduct diligent research and account planning for target accounts
  • Identify, establish, and develop new customer relationships

What You'll Need (Requirements)

  • A demonstrable track record of high performance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and practice: you enjoy working as part of a small team, rapidly iterating strategy, and getting your hands dirty to build something great
  • Ability to establish relationships with Senior and C-level executives within a large industry
  • Preferably experience with prospecting through the use of sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Experience with selling SaaS solutions to large enterprises is an advantage
  • Experience in the food industry is an advantage
  • Experience at a startup is also an advantage
